Xbox 360 warranty is now extended

xbox-360-logo.jpgWe all know how Microsoft messed up the first batch of Xbox 360, and they have been criticised more than enough for it. However, they want to right their wrong now, and have offered to repair any system made before January 1, 2006 for free. So good to see this non-evil side of Microsoft! But wait, thats not all. They are even providing refunds for those customers who had to spend money on repairing their consoles from the original batch.

These customers are going to add up to a large number as Microsoft has extended its warranty period from 90 days to a full year. For everyone that has had to face inconvenience, reinbursement checks will be arriving within 10 weeks or so Microsoft says.
