Grand Theft Auto this is not, Grand Theft Xbox 360 it is

The Xbox 360 seems to be the target of thieves as over GBP 1 million worth of the systems were stolen in two different hijacking incidents in the Midlands UK. See, this is the price you pay for your immense popularity, Microsoft! On a more serious note, GBP 750,000 worth of Xbox 360's were stolen from a lorry on wednesday, and not many days before another lorry carrying GBP 260,000 worth of consoles was hijacked.

Road crime is a problem harassing the Uk authorities, and the thieves are smart ones with a lot of tricks up their sleeve. They range from slashing curtain-sided articulate lorries to fooling drivers into pulling over before stealing. Also, these thiefs won't hesitate to resort to violence if need be.

It is quite obvious that the stolen consoles will be sold at cheaper prices during christmas time, the police believe so too. They are in high demand and cost between GBP 200 and GBP 300," said Peter Stevens, spokesperson for Staffordshire Police. We are appealing for information from anyone offered them in suspicious circumstances, such as in a pub, at a car boot sale or off the back of a lorry."

Do help out the police if you can, I know Microsoft is evil, but there are other ways to fight it!
