WidowPC all set to introduce a lag reducing PC for World Of warcraft

World of Warcraft players have another reason to rejoice besides the release of Burning Crusade! WidowPC is coming out with the world's first gaming computer, especially tailored for WoW players. I can understand keyboards being made specifically for WoW, but computers?! I could use this as a classic example for the multiplier (pun intended) effect in my economics class.

The new machine is designed to reduce the lag experienced by WoW users and other massively multiplayer games. Did I just hear a collective sigh of relief from all MMO players? I think so, as this system is all set to bring the fun back in the games.

The company's use of Bigfoot Networks' "Killer NIC" online gaming accelerator as part of a system is the reason for this new form of intelligent networking technology. This is made possible by the built in processor of "Killer NIC" that helps reducing CPU requirements for on-line games.

WidowPC doesn't stop here and goes a step further by introducing a new Core 2 Duo gaming laptop based on the NVIDIA Go 7950 GTX video card with 512MB DDR3 memory, Intel Core 2 Duo Meron CPU and up to 4 GB of DDR2 RAM on a US$2195 package. These advancements make me feel like a fat kid would when thinking about cup-cakes.

The Sting 517D gaming laptop is packed with features like a 17-inch Wide Screen 1920 x 1200 WUXGA SuperBrite LCD, DVD-RAM technology, 200 GB of SATA hard drive storage, high speed wireless, Bluetooth, TV tuner, memory card slots, and multimedia connections. Damn son, I'm gonna havta stop to take in all this tech candy, and I'm sure your wishlists are full by now anyway.
