Disney's Toontown gives Mac a reason to smile

Disney-s-Toontown-Goes-To-Retail-This-Fall-2.jpgYou know how Mac users always feel left in the cold, not this time though as Disney Online Today has made Disney's Toontown Online for Macs. Yipee, at last something for Macintosh to rejoice about! This is the first massively multi-player online game made especially for kids and family. So, naybe this is reason enough for families to pack their Macs in picnic baskets rather than frisbees. Anyway, the idea behind Toontown is to allow players to live life as a cartoon character. Don't worry about leading a lonely life as thousands of other players will be online with you doing the same. And if that doesn't entice you, Disney have got another trick up their sleeve. Yep, you guessed it, they have included special new gags!

These gags include Wedding Cake throw gag, an Ocean Liner drop gag, an Opera Voice sound gag, and more. And all these can be accessed by reaching the highest skill level on their gag tracks. Players have the option of using these new gags either in battle against the Cogs or planting them using the new Estate Gardening feature that was recently added to the game. Wow, I'd be hell excited if I was still in my toddler years! I do wish they had added Final Fantasy characters to this, and that would make it a big hit with me (like Kingdom Hearts).

Toontown is available at a reasonable price of 10 dollars per month, and some extra rates in case you can't get enough of the game, and would like to extend the membership. Each membership includes six separate "Toons," so multiple family members can play as their own character. Also, if you are doubtful like I am, there is a free 3-day trial available. So, go have some looney fun! Oh no, that's the Warner Brothers.
