- NFS : The Island : Good news or just another rumour?
There's some great news for NFS fans. Apparently, Need For Speed : The Island has a bunch of features from the original Need for Speed series, however, with a slight twist. This time you get up to 15 computer-controlled opponents or 7 human opponents in online play. Another fun feature is that it is now possible to roam over 1000 miles of open road. To keep you company here, there will be AI traffic as well as human traffic. And the good news doesn't end here and isn't only limited to NFS fans.

- Rumour has it that Duke Nukem will be back early next year
According to American retialer Best buy, Duke Nukem Forever is set to release on January 2, 2007. This throws me back to the 1996, when Duke Nukem 3D first came out. It was recommended to us by a friend's borther who was completely sick of watching us jump around in Dave, mario and DOS version of Prince of Persia. And as you can imagine, this transition of genres completely shocked us. I mean it's one thing to run after muchrooms, and completely another thing to be hit with topless girls! But after we girls got over the initial shock, Duke Nukem became our favourite after school activity. And it still remains the only FPS I have actually truly enjoyed playing.
