-
Data Trackers NPD have revealed that Wii remotes are leading the pack of video game accessories with a huge figure of 270,000 Wiimotes sold in the month of november alone. Besides this, 153,000 nunchucks were sold, and 476,000 Wii consoles have been purchased. As if this isn't enough, Nintendo's supremacy is apparent through the success of its handheld device as well, as the NDS Lite Starter Kit has managed to bring in a sales figure of 154,000.
Microsoft's HD-DVD add on for Xbox 360 was launched in the same month as Ninteno's Wii, and it sold about 42,000 units. Xbox 360's wireless controller gave the Wiimote close competion by selling 251,00 pieces.
Sony appears to be left behind in this race of video game accessories. It has sold 98,000 units, and about 152,000 memory cards for the PS2.
