- DS snapshot from the past
Nintendo sure knows how to promote its products, or maybe it's just the Japanese fans. Either way, we saw a DS related picture from years back when it was first out in Japan. Pretty cool to see the DS on the Yamanote line. The games crazy Japanese will stop at nothing to promote or show their love for Nintendo! But, if you think it over..who wouldn't want to go on a train that has the DS as its exterior?! Hmmm..Sony fanboys, I suppose.

- New Super Mario Bros. for the DS
We know what to expect fron New Super mario Bros. An excellent 2D platformer adventure. What is really great about this game is that it has a tinge of the old games but in a totally new way. You never feel like it is being repetitive. The story is the usual involving Princess Peach getting kidnapped, and Mario having to rescue her. The game contains eight worlds that are a delight to go through with their secret exits and all. The gameplay here is considered to be superb. The music especially is good, as it is mostly remixed mario tracks.

- Twilight Princess more than a super duper hit
I always knew Nintendo had to get back in the game at some point, and at this point, it is truly ruling the roost. Not only has the Wii sold 3 million units, but the newest Zelda game has managed to sell a staggering 2 million copies. This is indeed, a golden year for Nintendo. And they sure as hell deserve it. But Nintendo's success doesn't end here. The DS has sold over 35 million units by now. Pretty impressive huh? Take that for a comeback Sony and Microsoft!

- Elite Beat Agents for DS
I personally love getting addicted to games, and this one apparently offers just that. From what I've heard it is highly addictive rhythm game. The Elite Beat Agents are secret agents who travel the globe to solve people's problems and work for an army general. Their job is to shake their hips to pop songs, and make sure everything is merry again. It seems that the cut scenes of the game are something to look out for, they add to the fun experience. The good part of this game is that multiplayer mode is available. The game might sound easy enough, but it is quite a task to master it. But that, in fact, is the charm of the game.

- Yoshi's Island for DS
Yoshi's Island is a good platformer that has a very cutesy crayon feel about it. It is similar to Mario's adventures, and if you liked those games, then this one will surely be on your Top 10 games list. This game, apaprently, is much better than its predecessor for a variety of reasons. Here, you can drop loads of babies on Yoshi's back to annoy enemies, and overall the babies have a bigger role. The plot is that the evil wizard Kamek kidnaps baby Mario and baby Luigi, and the rest of the babies as well. Overall, it is a really fun game, with great music and graphics. It's more on the easy going side, if you haven't figured that out already.

- PSP and DS rip-offs available now
These days you have a cheap replicas of everything. Be it the Statue of Liberty or the ipod, chances are you will find a cheaper mini fake version of them. But so far, there was no word of handheld consoles having rip-offs. However, all that has changed now, and a global trading site called Alibaba has a handheld device that looks far too much like a PSP, except that it has POP station printed on it. This handheld can play various games like Soccer, Street Fighter, Fortress Guardian and Submarine Invasion.

- Nintendo dominates the gaming market
I recently had a chat with a friend about which of the new consoles has an edge over the others. He said Nintendo's Wii by far, and I pretty much scoffed. But today I read some interesting information that is going to make me eat my own words. The Japanese Giant is clearly dominating the market as of now. It appears that Nintendo has sold about 55 percent of all video gaming consoles in November (wow, what the hell happened to PS3?).

If you have managed to get your hands on Nintendo's Wii, and go to a university with a wired connection, you're in for some good news. It is possible to share the connection with your Wii by using your Airport card! Don't know how to go about it? Here is the step by step method for Mac OS X (It's pretty damn simple, although I haven't tried it) :

- Tekuteku Angel Pocket pedometer, reason # 359823 to pull out your Nintendo DS
Are the japanese making a deliberate effort at converting gamers into fitness freaks? First, Nintendo comes out with the Wii which requires flailing your arms around, and now Tekuteku Angel Pocket pedometer can be synched with the DS. This run-of-the-mill white and blue pedometer is, well..not so run-of-the-mill after all due to its ability to upload data to the Nintendo DS. This makes it possible for the DS to keep track of your 'caloric output and general health readings'. At least the parents can be assured that the Japanese market is not just after your kids souls! They do care!
