NFS : The Island : Good news or just another rumour?

need-for-speed-most-wanted-20051128115931687.jpgThere's some great news for NFS fans. Apparently, Need For Speed : The Island has a bunch of features from the original Need for Speed series, however, with a slight twist. This time you get up to 15 computer-controlled opponents or 7 human opponents in online play. Another fun feature is that it is now possible to roam over 1000 miles of open road. To keep you company here, there will be AI traffic as well as human traffic. And the good news doesn't end here and isn't only limited to NFS fans.

In the Theme Park : The Island you have an option of creating your very own theme park in both online and offline modes. How cool is that? Also, in Sims : The Island both offline and online play have story modes. Unfortunately there's a good chance that this could turn out to be just a rumour. Keep your fingers crossed.
