Analyst: PS3 to Overthrow Xbox 360 in 2009, Leaving Wii in 3rd

ps3-wii-xbox-360.jpgIf three gamers are asked, which of the three consoles will win in the next generation and it's a guarantee that you'll get three different answers. So it's always better to ask the people who are a little bit more in-the-know, as is the case with Analyst Jason Anderson. At the MI6 Game Marketing Conference, Anderson predicts that, the Xbox 360 will be the leader for a couple more years, just due to its early entry. According to him by 2009, the PS3 will go beyond the 360 in the "installed base race", leading to Sony winning the battle overall. Further he concluded that the Gamecube, will follow in a slow but respectable 3rd place. If people go for brand name then Sony's already got millions of devotees more than Nintendo or Microsoft. Anderson's predictions will be correct if we see a price drop by 2009 for the PS3.
