- Sony's new PS3 update leaves us guessing about what has been updated
Oh, Sony, you disappoint me! You sucked out all the fun that comes along with new updates for a system. The wait, the anticipation, the excitement, all for nothing! The HD scaling issue has clearly not been fixed as the Blu-ray playback still looks much too mangled. Now to the next bug, which is the slow browser. And even after the update it hasn't changed at all. If you are wondering about the store, it is pretty much the same.

- PS3 tops ebay charts as far as prices for consoles go
How much are you willing to pay to get your hands on Sony's PS3? Looks like the console is going at the price of $1000 on ebay. Surprised? Don't be, I've been saying for a long time that Sony fanboys will stop at nothing to get this console. $1000 is safe and harmless compared to the reports of theft and murder that have been witnessed all over USA.

This is the first massively multi-player online game made especially for kids and family. So, naybe this is reason enough for families to pack their Macs in picnic baskets rather than frisbees. Anyway, the idea behind Toontown is to allow players to live life as a cartoon character. Don't worry about leading a lonely life as thousands of other players will be online with you doing the same. And if that doesn't entice you, Disney have got another trick up their sleeve. Yep, you guessed it, they have included special new gags!

- Be prepared for Red Steel's part II

Ubisoft's Red steel has told a ton, despite of not winning any accolades from the critics. After such a cold response from critics, it comes as a suprise that this game has been a hit, only being beaten by Nintendo's Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. To be honest, I'm surprised with the game's success as I wasn't sure of how well the sword swinging and gun aiming game play would get along with Wii's motion sensing device. However it appears that players are enjoying mastering this. Also the whole 'East meets West' didn't sit down too well with me.

- Who wants to be a millionaire? A chinese student who got busted along the way

We all want a little extra moolah sometimes, but this twenty-three year old chinese student Wang Yue Si, studying in Japan seemed to think that a few extra bucks means a million dollars. It's all good to dream about such things, however this man actually achieved his goal. Now that's a rarity, especially when you spend most of your time playing online games. Clearly not impossible though, as Wang made an easy million solely by selling "items such as weapons and currency for online games".

- Wii, a disc spewing machine?

The recent consoles seem to have taken a liking to using discs to play peekaboo with the gamers. First it was the PS3, now it is the Wii having problems with stomaching the discs. If you think the PS3 and Wii are the only consoles facing loading mechanism problems, you're in for something else. It seems to be the trend with Xbox 360 as well. And what's more is that Microsoft doesn't even have service stations spread out over the country like Nintendo. Apparently, all broken 360's need to be sent to Texas to get them fixed. Well, I'd be a little apprehensive about that with all the rednecks in that state! If not a good service centre network, give the customers some peace of mind at least, Microsoft!

On a more serious note, GBP 750,000 worth of Xbox 360's were stolen from a lorry on wednesday, and not many days before another lorry carrying GBP 260,000 worth of consoles was hijacked.
